I might splash a bit more mud/dirt on it, but you have to remember this tank was/is only a few months old. Produced in April/May 1943 and I've modelled it as it would appear in July 1943. Not much time for it to used and abused. From what I've been able to find out, Das Reich wasn't involved in much action between the Third Battle of Kharkov and the commencement of Operation Zitadelle

it was raining, it was wet and muddy, even by train it would of got quite dirty, the railways station where it got off the train would of been surrounded in mud all the while it was raining some more
