Hi All. Another one from the mid-eighties I actually managed to complete! I'm still not sure what gave me the idea that a few branches and a small rock fall wold stop the Sherman from just rolling over it. I mean the tracks are still on! There is even a guy poking out some rocks from between the wheels haha! Still, I think it came out kinda OK when I think how old I was. I reckon I was getting better with my figure painting at this point. The eyes don't seem quite so Judge Doom .

Oh, and ya gotta love the fine layer of "fur" that's visible in photo number 6. I guess that's what happens after 30 years out in the open! Maybe I should have given it a better clean before snapping these! Let's just say it's a "weathering technique"!

I like it. Certainly there would be things to add and adjust if you were redoing this, but it tells the story with 80s figures. You'd be surprised what might stop a tank. You have no idea what's under that rock pile. Nothing like a hidden mine to ruin your day.

I quite like my military art..

Thomas c Lee"s work on Pelilu is very very good. Google 'the price'.

Any how that's OT

Like the Sherman is an old Italieri one????
