G'day everyone

Here is Trumpeter's 1/35 Aussie Aslav-25 (Phase three) that I built straight OOB a while ago now.
I know the kit is not without a couple of accuracy issues but I decided to build it OOB nonetheless.

It was only after I finished it that I realised the decal instructions for the Chevron positioning in the kit are wrong... "Bullryder" is from B Squadron, in which case the chevrons should be facing upwards :hairpull:

Nice work B)

What did you use for the periscope lenses? It looks very realistic :)

It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

Thanks Andrew

I used AFV's anti-reflection coating lens stickers. Purchased them on Hobby Easy website for about $6.

Like it very much mate! :) Don't have the kit but did Trumpeter include the anti slip surface on the top of the vehicle?

Thanks mate
No they didn't unfortunately. I did attempt to replicate the anti-slip surface by lightly dabbing model glue on it with an old brush but it is very subtle and not really visible in the pics...

You've nailed the colour of the dirt. Really nice build actually.

I remember wrestling the Italeri LAV kit into submission when it first came out... and even then it just looked 'wrong' when it was done. I may have a go at one of these later LAV kits toward the end of the year.... Another well presented model, Charles.

Great looking LAV!!! An Aussie LAV and Abrams would make a nice display pair .......

My early Italeri LAV was not a success. It has since donated it's life bits to my sci-fi conversion stash .......

Didn't touch it - NOT my fault ..........

That has come out very nicely - those stickers really add a lot to the model.

Hi Greg,

That looks pretty good! Really like the weathering. Those AFV Club lens stickers are great, they change colour depending on the angle you look from, just like the real thing B)

It's not the worlds best kit, but you have done an excellent job. I've got one on the go and am having a frustrating time with some of it. Doesn't help that i work on the real thing, so i am a bit critical of my build
