Hi everyone

Here is my recently finished Australian Leopard. It is the Tamiya 1/35 West German Leopard kit, which I have built to depict "Hat Dich" - the ride of the Commanding Officer of 1st Armoured Regiment.

I used 'Mouse House's Leopard AS1 Conversion, decals and camo paints.

I just have to make / add tow cables, which unfortunately don't come with the kit.

Thanks for looking

Greg

Thanks mate

The lighting seems to have made it look a bit glossier than it really is. The "just stopped raining look"? : )

Thats really nice! I've half pie been thinking of doing one of these in a 'what if' New Zealand scheme. Apparently we cam pretty close to getting Leopard 1s but the government decided to purchase the Scorpion instead.

Really nice job of the 3 tone camo scheme, I particularly like the black and green it's reminiscent of 80's British armour.

Excellent work , it looks great ! .... I really like the Aussie camo scheme

This is mine I done a while ago , I just used stuff from my spare parts box , made the stowage bins and mud flaps from plastic off a KFC potato-n-gravy pot

Looks sweet B)

How long did it take you to build, paint and weather? :) Didn't seem that long ago you'd just finished the Cent

Thanks Andrew

I started it around the same time as the M113. Was a great kit and nice easy build. It probably took the equivalent of 5-6 days in total. I kept the weathering to bare minimum...just used some turps mixed with ground up pastel chalk and gave it a few flicks with an old paint brush :)

I have also just started on an Aussie M1A1 AIM
