With the horrible gunship primed and ready for paint I decided to get into my next build. The plan was to do a winter bird in my first attempt at a Dio for Nationals at Armistace. Unfortunately with my wifes Illness I am late getting started and doubt it will be finished in time. I am still hoping to make it to the nationals but that will also be dependent on how my wife is doing. Anyway... The kit looks good! It has a couple of quite nice figures in it which I was surprised by. I wasn't planning on using them but I am going to paint them up anyway.Good practice! I have made a start by adding some extra detail to the cockpit side walls.

I also have some Master Models Gun barrells and some RB seatbelts. Oh.. and a ZM 1/32 Kettenkrad..Not sure if that will be part of the build yet. I wont be using the Eduard self adhesive colour PE, So if anybody wants it let me know.

What the others said. The wiring brings it to life and you will see it in the Stuka cockpit too.

I have to say that this kit is a joy to put together after the Italeri AC-130!! Construction continues..and also started getting some paint down in the cockpit area.. RLM66

Looking good. I should crack on with my G2 one at some point too, they do look like they go together easily.

I have been banging away..sorta 30-40 mins in the morn before work...Seatbelts,decals and washes to come..Gotta track down the wayward brass barrel set I ordered from Aus a month ago too...

And a little something extra I may use in conjunction with the Stuka

Looking fantastic. Love that wire detailing in the cockpit. Watching this, as I have the same kit in the stash.

The extra wiring etc brings stuff to life. I really like the weathering. What is that little extra thing btw?

Sorry its been a while..Struggling to get bench time due to keeping an eye on the missus. Belts all done on the Stuka.. Added a little dirt and started putting the cockpit in so I can get the fuselage halves together.. I have also got primer and topcoat down on the Kettenkrad so I can continue with building that..Have to say I am enjoying this kit! Fits together pretty well.. few gaps and alignment issues but pretty minor stuff really.. Looking forward to getting the major assemblies together now! Anyways.. Have a nosey ...
