Airfix 1/24 Mosquito was created by gepete
Hi Everyone, here's another of the big Airfix kits that I'm working on this year. I'm aiming to have this completed by October along with the Stuka and Typhoon so I can feature it in a window display at my local library in Glen Eden. Like the other 2 kits, there is a lot of assembly of components that are in 2 halves that is required before basic painting can be started. I love glueing pieces together while listening to audio books or music so this part of the project is always pleasant and therapeutic. Here's what in the box for starters.

Modelair had at least 3 of them on special about a month ago for $250 in their store. I glue my subassemblies together, pencil in the stage number and bag them up in ziplock bags so I don't lose track a month or whenever further down the line. I usually have heaps of models on the go and skip from project to project so it's the only way I can keep track.
