Sorry bout the absence...Bloody Humidity is killing the Mojo big time at the moment! But I have painted the underside and painted the underside roundrels on. Also managed to make a start on the main camo colours..and snap one of the cannon barrels off! Had to battle the carpet monster for it but I won in the end! :cheer:

Am hoping to make a start on masking for the green this week. I gotta have this done by easter so I can give it to the old man when I go down for the Wanaka Airshow...

Wow, I'm amazed that you're masking and painting the roundels and fuselage codes, but it looks great, especially the colour modulation on the wing roundels.

So I had to rush it in the end because it needs to be on a plane with me on Wednesday morn, Didn't get it finished the way I would have liked. But I hope it will be a nice surprise for Dad. So here it is.Battle weary MkVb Spitfire. 1/32 Hobby Boss kit. Painted markings, Aerobonus pilot.

Awesome :woohoo:

I see imperfections in all my staff that no one else seems to notice or aren't saying anyway. I think as the builder you have an image in your head of what it should look like and what you want it to look like and if it doesn't match we tend to focus on those parts. Others don't have that image and can look at it with clear eyes.

Rob

No model left behind even if it screams all the way to the display shelf!

Currently hacking away at:
1/24 Custom Nissan D21 Navara
1/24 Tamiya Mazda RX-7 S4
1/25 Revell Datsun 720 Kingcab Rebuild

I think we all feel the same way about our own builds, or at least I do! never happy, always see the faults before everything else.

Thankfully others see the whole thing rather better, which is often as in this case really nice (and are too kind to say too much as you say, at least on polite forums like this one!)
