About three years ago I bought the Me 109 G Eduard Royal Class.

The model initially chosen was Wernwer Schroer's 109 G2. Finally and after about two years away from the modeling I was able to finish it.

I started the second model. This time a G-14 and this is the version chosen.

Now I just hope it does not take so long to finish the model. The interiors are almost ready to start painting. I prepared the pieces to start painting the RLM 02.

And the RLM 02 (XF-22 Tamiya) applied.

Also painted propeller (here used a mask Eduard) and rims.

And that's all. I hope you enjoy.

I painted the propeller and the spinner. Only mate clear. What was over and I'm waiting for a new bottle to arrive

Thanks Beavis and Tiger. Glad you liked it.

And with the arrival of Gunze paints that were missing (RLM 04) I continued the work on the model. I painted the yellow zones.

And that's enough for now.

You have got that Yellow coverage nailed.
For a colour that tends to run off high points and pool in lower it looks spot on.

IAN and Tiger

Thanks

I painted the stripe with a mixture of green and blue from Gunze.

And after three days waiting for the paint to dry, and I do not know, I completed the mask and started painting the model.

For now the RLM 76.

With another action from Photobucket and after much searching I finally got where to host my images. Easy, faster to make the hosting of the images but, more time consuming to transfer images to the forums (Postimage). Now the problem will be to replace all the images you had on Photobucket.

For now, more advances in Me G 14.

ThanksIAN

Painting almost ready. Now missing the spots.

Here a problem but I was already waiting. The mask, despite having waited more than 5 days, marked the stripe painting. I think the problem is the gloss paints. They are more affected than matt paints. And I think Gunze paints suffer a little more than Tamiya paints.

Mask and I repainted. Dilute the paint a little more to see if it dries faster.
