That sounds a better option. I really liked this scheme you did

Is the thing that you lost the filter the only reason you want to re-do the scheme?

You can have the filter from mine if you like. I am doing this kit in flying pose and bought an open filter from Quickboost.

Hi Woody

That would be fantastic to get that off you if you don't need it? Would be great to get this finished.
Getting new decals and stripping it was kind of my last resort.

Will PM you.

Cheers

Mike

I've decided to pull this build out again and get it finished.
Thanks again to Woody, for the replacement airfilter and decals, this wouldn't have been acheavable without those.
In the pic below I have just sanded the old decal off, and am about to respray the sanded area.
Please excuse the bad phone pic.

Cheers

Hi Mike,

Only to glad to be able to help. Nice to see the 109 back on the bench B)

We are moving soon. Once i get all that sorted and settled, i shall endeavour to get back into some modeling. I am doing the same kit, but i need to source a canopy as mine seems to be delaminating. It's usable, but my fussy ways will not allow me to use it

Yea it's good to get it back on the bench. It has been bugging me for a long time. I wish I had a canopy to help you out :-(

Not a very exciting update, but new decal on. Filter has had it's gloss coat applied.

Nice to see this model have a second wind with the generous help of others. What I've never understood is why all kit makers don't include two sheets of decals (Tameo kits do) in every kit. Price would be only marginally more in a smaller kit. Ok 1/32 might be more pricey, but from my own clumsy moments I'd say useful none the less!
