I usually build cars but have been attracted to the dark side by my modelling buddies here in Napier. This is my first WW2 aircraft build in almost 50 years so please be gentle.
It's a box stock build using my favoured medium of Tamiya spraycans, Bare Metal Silver and Italian Red. The interior paint is by Vallejo, my first attempt at airbrushing.
Thanks for looking.

Looks great to me. Is the nose work decals or paint?

I think those decals come with the kit, but I'm certain Paul will correct me if I'm wrong - Great work young man, and welcome to a whole new world !!

Thanks - the blue diamonds are one decal above the exhausts, and the red rings are also decals applied over Tamiya Blue.

Very, very nice work there maltsr. We hope both you and your models will also be attracted to the greatest show in NZ at Armistice 2018 aka the IPMS Nationals.

Nice work, I wondered how those decals would go down. Looks like they worked well

Lovely build and precise application of decals as well. The spinner rings in particular.
