A quick build for a group build on LSP. Out of the box, crappy decal seat belts included. :D The kit is just okay in my opinion.

Hey Grant
where do you buy your mojo from? I want some! Seriously though, great build. What paint products do you use?
Cheers,
Richard.

Cheers Richard. It's all Tamiya acrylic but of course I had to mix the RLM colours. I use Tamiya enamels and some cheap oils for weathering and the dull coat is Vellejo matt varnish. Mojo is courtesy of coffee, an occasional glass of wine, and a room in the back of the house where I can escape to. :D

Hey Grant that's a pretty good finish for a "quick job", did you free hand the mottle? what airbrush needle size are you running because that looks crisp i'm running a 0.3 nad my mottles end up a bit feathery.... could just be shit technique

Most pilots last words are "Watch this"

Lovely work Grant. I took a look on LSP but could not find a WIP or anything, so when you say quick build about long did it take?

0.3 but I use reasonably thinned paint and build up the mottle. Hold it nice and close and don't pull back too much on the trigger. I'm using a Badger Velocity Renegade now which has a quite stiff trigger action that adds to the control.

Four weeks from start to finish, but in that time I also finished off the 1/24 Typhoon. This was very much a bit of fun.

That looks pretty good, especially for a quick build
