Something I've been working on over the last week or so in between the other builds I've been working on.
1/48 Tamiya P-47D "Bubbletop" its a very nice kit to build but the decals are a dog, I had to continually piece them together, I wish I'd used some of the aftermarket ones I've got kicking around.
Just getting some more practice in on the metal finish prior to commencing with the big B-25

Nice Job...

What did you use for the NMF???
I’m painting the NMF on the Tamiya Ki-61 ATM so interested to see what you used..

A mix of Alclad II, AK Extreme Metals and the AK Wax Metals, the weathering again is a mix of Ammo of Mig PLW, Oils and AK/Ammo type washes.

So we’re the Tamiya decals old or just no good? I’ve not come across bad ones, it’s been a while since I last used any so it’ll be good to know. Love how this has turned out btw.
