Come on Kane, do it! It's such a good price too! Nos and I are just playing devils advocate. Could do a triple build... Just tell Kelly that Corran and I made you do it...
Corran, I've been eyeing up the AMK Foxhound for a while, been looking for the special edition with the metal landing gear, canopy seals and a couple of other bits for a reasonable price. You can buy the extras separately, which is a good idea because a common issue with it is the kit gear is too weak for the model.
Cheers for the heads up. I have ordered window tint for it (and for the F-14 and F-4)And gasket decals, I looked at the metal gear because I had my suspicians about that... I will order some. Paid $103 NZD Landed... I thought that was a pretty good price!
While overseas recently I walked for nearly 50 minutes to find this model shop so I HAD to buy something. Must admit their kitset range was limited as half the shop was radio control stuff so I settled on this for just over $30.
It will be finished as an RNZAF 'what if' as the RNZAF was interested in acquiring the Mitchell but US offered the Ventura. Now would we have set them up for bombing or ship attack with lots and lots of .50s in the nose - Hmmmm
Had these 2 arrive from luckymodel, theyve been sitting waiting for another kit since june and I got sick of waiting so canned the backordered kit (and ended up getting it cheaper anyway from Hobby City) and got thse here in less than a week.
This will be done as the below scheme.
And the backordered kit which was cheaper locally (how rarely does that happen!)

I just received 1/48 Islander by Valom purchased off UK company on Ebay. Not a manufacturer I've even heard of before. First glance opening the box it looks pretty good. I purchased Israeli Air Force version but plan to finish it in Rhodesian Air Force colour scheme.
