A banquet of B-25 aftermarket parts G1. Speaking of feasts I'm curious what this "mouldy sushi" in a bag is?....

Father in law just flew in from China with a ton of toys. Well most were for my daughter but a couple for me.

The Meng whippet is going straight onto the bench once I finish the shitty old Emhar kit I'm working on at the moment.

These 2 just showed up on my desk this morning (thanks Mighty Ape for taking more of my money!). Have always wanted a BSGNew Raptor and now I have it. And of course I had to get the weapons set for it.

Is fairly large in 1/32, about 30cm long and detail is pretty good. Now I have the Mk2 Viper, Mk7 and the Cylon Raider. Still need to get the Galactica at some point too.

$30 and you get the big rocket pods, gatling guns for each wing tip and a 4 pack of missiles and a smaller rocket pod for under each wing.
Like the below pic.

A significant purchase for me. Not that it's just paint (and a book) but it's camouflage colours for AFV's. Last time I bought a camo colour for an AFV was a Humbrol Authentic colour back in the seventies, so the pendulum has finally swung all the way back to the beginning... I'm close to making an AFV again for the first time in 40 years!

The paint not only looks a bit like a Tamiya jar, but even smells sort of similar to Tamiya. The book on brief inspection is beautifully printed and comes with a colour swatch which will no doubt be quite handy.

Direct from AK Interactive. I also got some other colours. Service was good with about a week to process order, and only 4 days to get here from Spain by courier.

Cool looking forward to hearing your review on the paints & look of the colours & a couple of sample pages.
does the book have factory camo instructions for late war tiger II's
or Caunter patterns for British tanks in NA.
like in Mike Starmers & Dick Taylor's warpaint books?
& was the postage reasonable from Spain?
Cheers
Elliott

I'm not familiar with the books you mention but there are profile pix in the book, certainly not extensive mind you. I've yet to read the book (it's in the queue) but a quick cursory scan of pages had one Tiger II with an ambush scheme, and there is a page and half on the Caunter scheme. My main reason for getting this book is because I'm more interested in colour than replicating actual schemes. Most if not all the armour I'll build in the future will not be based on any one specific vehicle, so scheme variation is left open to do as I please (within reason of course). Postage by courier was about $55 from memory. For 25 pots of paint and a book that seemed a pretty fair price, especially as getting paint from other countries can be next to impossible (Xtracolour and WEM for instance).

Latest one fresh off the airplane (so to speak).

Lots of articulation and changeable parts on this one, hands, guns and swords can all be swapped out. Arms and legs etc all move. Also comes with the chest lighting.
Can be assembled unpainted ala Bandai kits but would be shame not to on a kit like this. Could be a good kit to get some AK or Ammo sci-fi paint sets to get some metallic colours.

Yeah not so fussed about the Cherno Alpha. Does look russian but not aesthetically pleasing like Gipsy Danger is. Hopefully when the new Pacific Rim movie comes out we'll get some new Jaegers to choose from.

Definitely the nicest of the GTR's, my favorite car! (It's my lotto car, I have an agreement with the wife that if we ever win more than a milllion in Lotto then I am allowed to buy a brand new one). The lego U-wing is pretty cool too, I got one last year for xmas, it is a big sucker! Ben will love it.

Those Aoshima kits look lovely. In a moment of weakness I bought the Tamiya one in a second hand shop in Tokyo...funnily enough, you see more real ones of these in Auckland than you do in Japan....but it might just be the areas I hang out in!

There's at least three around here too (one is a 'Spec V' like this kit). That said I started the Tamiya R34 that I picked-up at AiC yesterday, but I'll start a thread on that in due course.
