Micky it's made by IBG Models

No, it's just describing the type of body, it's a full styrene kit B)

Thanks Glenn, appreciate the kind words, were the track links different sizes then? I just stuck them on in the order the instructions said to, I did notice that there were some spares, I was going to string them up somewhere but didn't get round to it.

Are you saving them here. If so use full editior (reply button), click on the upload buttons at the bottom, and your folders will appear, select the folder you want, open it, click on the file (upload one at a time) and repeat till you have all the shots you want. Its best to add them to the post rather than have them as attachments, so place the cursor where you want the shot to be (or simply under the body of the text) and click the insert button. Post and you're done.

Ed that's the idea... nice kits

The oils I can always use, it's the AK product i'll have to experiment with.
I'll give them a fair shake and if I don't like them i'll give them to someone that does.

I'm happy with the old way and can always go back to it.

I'm still debating whether to convert this to a M4A1(76)W with the turret from the Tasca M4A3(76)W B)

Yeah, I asked on Armorama, there's one by Trackz, the Verlinden release and this Resicast one. The best thing about the Resicast set is that it includes parts to suit any Sherman transmission type. I'm planning to mount this on a Dragon M4 Sherman Normandy to make a Sherman Mk I with dozer from NZ 28th Assualt Squadron, Trieste 1944 as found on the Bison BD35106 NZ Armour in Italy set :cheer:

I will most DEFINATELY be getting the DO335, as will my uncle. I don't really care how much it will cost (Im thinking it will be between $150-250 or thereabouts)

That was announced a couple of years back and then never heard of again. Be nice if it actually appears.

My wife calls me a curmudgeon. I haven't looked it up but I assume it means "fun loving and free spirited" or some such twaddle. I inform and perform over at www.militarymodels.co.nz and stick my oar in here as well. My passion is WWII 1/35 armour but I'm coming around to liking the odd 1/32 thing...

The Revell He111 is supposed to go on sale this weekend.

I wouldn't hold my breath for the Masterbox kits, they've been saying "another six months" for two years now.

Tony, yeah, I'm looking forward to a OOB build with the Sherman. Well maybe a metal barrel for it  I think I will go ahead with the M4A1(76)W build too B)

Got these off Tradme in what I can only describe as a moment of sheer madness..............not one.............

........but two......

One is an Ace kit the other Italeri but as you can see from the lower fuselage comparison they are from the same mold.

What can I say, they were cheap and I really needed to add a few more kits to the stash

I mainly build things that fly; mostly post-war jet fighters. My favourites are Phantoms and Eagles.
On the bench:
- Hasegawa 1/48 F-8E conversion to Marines F-8K - no AM stuff other than Microscale decals
- Revell 1/32 F-4E with True Detail seats

The barrel is good enough without a metal one I think. DML mold a nice single piece for these.

Ace does a lot of Molding for other companys... Accurate Miniatures, Revell Germany, Italeri... So you will fine a few reboxes from them

When you look at the Ace vs Italeri F-19 there is no difference that I can see in quality; but, I always had an impression that Ace copied other manufacturers and that it was not an agreed arrangement. I have an Ace 1/32 F-16 that looks to be a straight copy of the old Hasegawa F-16A.
