Modern Combat GB would cover all of those - anything that has seen active combat starting with GW1. That takes in all of the above categories including some things floaty.

On The Bench
Hasegawa 1/48 OA-4M Skyhawk conversion
Hasegawa 1/48 A-4M Skyhawk

I would like to see a permanant Group Build section for Vintage kits - 50 years or older. Build them however you like, sow's ear to silk purse or whatever. No timelines, no rules, just a section where we can have some nostalgic fun with these older kits.

On the bench:
Airfix 1-48 Tiger Moth

I like this idea a lot but perhaps a bit younger than 50 years might help some more of my younger "old" kits qualify.

Hi,
Is it sufficient to have been deployed or must the item modelled have been in an action?

So a vehicle in an uneventful patrol. Ok or not?
An aircraft enforcing the no fly zone over the USA on 9/11. OK or not?

Any thoughts on dates?

Marcus

I started building models, then I was collecting more than I built. Now I'm more of an archivist.

Deployed is fine Marcus, it's more about the timeframe.

So here it is then, I've set up a poll to see who is keen (besides me)

If it goes ahead happy to run this one - and if anyone else wants to co-author this, fellow instigators welcome.
