More progress :woohoo:

I should be able to get the majority of the assembly finished by the weekend. Tossing up on whether to try to repair the broken Eureka resin parts, or just wait for the replacement to arrive. Will have to make a start on the tracks too

Looking good Andrew ...
I owned this kit years ago and really wanted to build it but never found the time and sold it off ...
Now I get the vicarious experience!
Those tracks will make a big difference I think ...
Watching with interest.

Thanks guys B)

You sometimes wonder the history of second hand kits. I know G1 has a portion of my old stash

Made a bit of progress on this. Just need to sort the tow cable and the tracks now. I've cleaned up a few of the links and connected them, but the click together isn't very positive. I'm thinking I may have to treat them like Magic Tracks and glue them together. I'll see how I go later today when I continue with the tracks.

Here are the current WIP pics

that looks cool Andrew, and you don't see many Japanese tanks being built

Moving along nicely. Not a wonderful tank, but a very nice model of it.

I love these tanks.. interesting, quirky, unique.. and the simple mechanical quality of the build where you can see how everything was put together appeals to the old machinery enthusiast in me.

Model is looking good too!

Thanks guys :)

Been having a mini break from this, track clean up has been pretty tedious. Would definitely recommend metal tracks over the Vision plastic links
