As I've been sticking my Tamiya T-62 together. I thought would there be any scope for a 'Tanks' GB???
Tanks of course means any AFV but with a limitation to Armour produced by lesser nations.
So nothing produced by the big 4 Germany the USA, Britain or the USSR/ Russia.
You could build something made by the French say a Char 1b but not a Sherman in French service as that was made in the US...
I think to keep a level playing field if a lesser nation built a version of a design for example a Chinese type 59 this wouldn't be allowed as it's a derivative of the T54/55.
The aim is to build stuff that differs from Tigers ,Sherman's and T-34's Of course it would be open to any scale or kit in any media and totally open in terms of era and it could lead be any type of AFV from a tank to a SPG or Armourd car or IFV.
I think it's a great idea, but you'll need to be just a wee bit more precise with your definition - will you include Tanks, wheeled recce types and APC's or just tanks alone ? - I'm happy to get behind this, have nothing in the stash but eBay is open 24hrs a day, right ??
As keen as I was, I'm out. Checked the only kit I had eligible for this and it is already about 60% assembled (Dragon 1/72 Chi-Ha), so don't have anything to play with and am not after any more armour at present.

Hasegawa 1/48 A-4M Skyhawk
I would be keen, as long as there's enough time to finish my other builds, I'd be keen for it to start any time it's just the end date. As you know I like having lots of things on the go so any time you want to start is fine by me.

Don't count on my joining-in John, got a double-build for a GB over at Modellers Alliance on the bench just now and a whole slue of other projects that I want to get finished or more accurately re-started, after I'm done with them. If I can I will, but no guarantees.
