Potential GB - I spy was created by Andrew
I spy with my little eye :woohoo:

Been deciding when to suggest this GB. I was initially thinking of having it just photo-recce and scout, but following Powders suggestion, have opened it up to include spy technology also.

Looking a start date of around June 2017, but happy to start earlier. 6 or 12 month runtime depending on feedback also

Open to scale. All types of vehicles/aircraft OSS, SOE, Photo-recce, scout vehicles. I'm happy to even let James Bond type kits/builds in B)

Discuss :woohoo:

It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

Potentially interesting Andrew. I have a few SR-71s in the stash and various recon aircraft. Start time sounds good with a 12 month build period.

On the bench:
Airfix 1-48 Tiger Moth

Yep, I'm keen - I don't seem to be able to vote - but I'm still keen. :)
1/72 Lysander + Citroen Traction Avant + SOE mademoiselle, all on a little dio.
6mths would be fine for me, but longer makes no difference.

Also just remembered I have the Airfix Spitfire PRXIX (unarmed photo recon) in the stash.
Wing Co. Roy Buchanan is a good NZ option for that. He had some 'fun' with an Me262 in an alpine pass - a scene reminiscent of a Star Wars movie I think.

I'd like to say I'm tentatively in. I'd also quite like to do a PRU Mosquito and or Spitfire from Wing Commanders Roy Buchanan's group. Will ponder my options until next year!

Soooo, can the Tamiya 1/32 Mosquito be built into a recon aircraft?

So many choices for this - almost certainly something European or Soviet and definitely not with propellors !! (because I don't have anything in the stash to fit).

From what I've read, it seems that you'd be better off starting with the HK Models B Mk. IV
