Been thinking about what we could do as group builds that would accomodate a number of genres/subjects, and have come up with 2 ideas. Thinking they could go for 6 months each? The first starting after armistice this year and the second ending ready for armistice 2017 maybe...
Names to be confirmed but you'll get the idea
Across the ditch/Aussie GB
Anything that's in Aussie, or used to be.
Could be a V8 supercar, an Air Force jet, an army tank, a WRC car or something like an Australian police car.
Scale could be open to anything
Something that is/was once a concept/prototype but never actually made production
Options could include modifying an existing kit, scratch build something, etc
We could have an allowance for this where as long as less than 5 were built it would be allowed, because 5 isn't exactly in production? So the Ferrari FXX wouldn't be allowed due to the number that were built, but the Ford GT90 would be allowed...but open for discussion...
Scale could be open for this too
The way I've set the poll means we can still see which ones hit 10 entries
Sorry Hadley, I just don't have capacity to take on another GB, as it is I'm finding myself just building what I want instead of what I "should" be building for the GBs. I don't want to tie myself down to something else that isn't on my personal list of things to build.
Maybe something for me next year.. But if it fits in with something I have planned. After this year, and trying to get through the GB's I committed myself to, next year I am going to try and go for "pleasure" and also "big" - I already have a good idea of the builds I want to do next year, all BIG kits...
Stand aside caffine, this is a job for alcohol.

There are a large number of GB's already on the go Hadley and I personally would not be interested in another until next year, at which time I would be interested in the Something Aussie concept. Until then though, I suspect most of us have enough to keep us busy modelling until late in the year.
im on my laptop looking for the calendar, am i looking in the wrong place or is there no GB's for next year yet?
The latest finishing one showing is the ODS GB but there's others missing, ie: the helicopters one
My comment was mainly for Hadley,
No point in pinning it, pinned posts still slide off the top and disappear, just look at the top menu (yes the one that no one looks at) hover over KM Events, select the bottom option and click "Submit an Event". You can choose to pick Group Build, Model Show, Kit release etc, It then gets approved and is added to the Calendar.
I try provide all the tools but no one uses them and then they moan that we don't have them............... sorry but it's very frustrating.
