There are multiple levels of Moderators and admins, from the top down.
Super User - Power Admin. There are 2 of us.
Site Administrators - People that can add content/articles to the site (not just the forums).
Global Moderators - People that can moderate all parts of the forums on this site.

Cool build topic with lots of options!
I'd probably go with the 1/35 M109 or M551 Sheridan?

Two builds for me:

Easy decision, got both kits and all the decals, etch, 'bits' and references' that I need.

Did the French use any jets during their involvement?

I don't think so. The French operated a number of piston engines types from numerous sources.

I'm going to run with one of these...

Hobby city have a couple of 1/32 Trumpeter Bearcat's on special (have been for ages) $85ish I think. It has french markings so I presume it is the correct version if the VNAF got theirs from the French.

I'll draft up a header after a sleep, and fire it off to G1 to create the new thread block

Yeah baby!

This boxing has the markings for Aussie A14-690 No.161 Sqn. I've always loved the lines of these birds.

...and today I learned something - Had no idea that the Aussies used these in Vietnam.

I didn't know that either until a couple of hours ago when I was reading build reviews of the kit (I was going to build the camo version on the box, but then thought this would be perfect to enter into the GB). The olive drab overall isn't the most exciting scheme, but gives a neat weathering opportunity. The dayglo orange would look cool too.

I'm toying with the idea of getting the trumpeter 1/48 A-37B and doing that instead, I'll see if I end up buying it or not.

Jumping on board. I have this:

Which I plan to backdate to an A-7A (not really a lot to do for that), and build as a VA-147 jet (I'll be doing NE-301)

Two kits on their way soon for this GB for me - Eduard 1/48 Mig21 PF, and Hobby Boss F105 Thunderchief - they were best mates at the time apparently
The mig21 kit has all the bits to make a NV plane with an amazing camo pattern over NMF - couldn't resist.

My T-34 is ready to rumble.

I've also a hankering to do an early Scooter - the one in my stash is too early though (1957 A4D-1) - but the new 1/72 Airfix tool A-4B includes decals for one flown from the USS Intrepid in 1966 and a quick google tells me this carrier was loitering around Nam at that time. :)
