Here we are another month closer to the finish date to current GBs

How are you progressing? :woohoo:

ODS - Assembly complete, awaiting some resin wheels to arrive, then can begin paint

F-14 Tomcat - Begun assembly on both cockpits. Will get back into this after completing the Mk.V

WWI - Construction almost complete

BtIC - Construction stalled, need to tackle the resin poor stubs on the fuel tanks

Helicopter GB - Need to sort paint and markings before beginning

Built to Race - Kit on way, need to sort a few AM details

Nascar - Still need to buy a kit. Trying to find one at a good price

Sci-Fi - Abandoned. Was going to have a go at something else, but have far more than enough on the bench

It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

Good progress on multiple kits Andrew. :cheer:

My Tornado has been restarted, but I'm currently sulking about the canopy. Here's the current state of things:

Tomcat is nearing completion. In fact it might be done this afternoon:

I'm thinking about starting on the helicopter kit, but can't think of a subject and kit yet. I want something small, with good detail and fit. I thought about the new Airfix Sea King, or maybe one of the 1/72 Hobby Boss kits.

Amen brother! Same as me mate, had no time or inclination lately for benchtime. I do need to try and get some time though so I can do some bulk painting for the flogger and maybe the Halo.

In Soviet Russia, Iron Curtain GB builds you!

People look at me funny when I say I own "Fifty shades of Grey". FS36118, FS36270, FS36375.....

Only 2 GB builds I'm still going on at present are my 2 ODS entries: the AV-8B in 1/48, and the Jag in 1/72. Both have progressed significantly, but are on hold until after the Nats are over. I have two other models I am trying to finish for that first.

On The Bench
Hasegawa 1/48 OA-4M Skyhawk conversion
Hasegawa 1/48 A-4M Skyhawk

I was the same for most of Jan/Feb, then I started the Cobra build and was off again. Starting to see how people have multiple builds on the go, and shelves of doom.

F-14: I completed the first of my 2 planned F-14 builds with an Egg Plane . I may even do a 3rd if I can find a real cheap F14
BTIC: I completed my Trumpeter BTR-80 (thankfully)
BTR: I have a Tamiya Porsche 911 planned for this. Hopefully i get to it.
ODS: I have started my F-15 build and plan to carry on with that after I finish my Cobra
Helo: Close to finishing the Cobra AH-1F triple build with K2 and Hadley
Sci-Fi: Have a special little kit planned for this. An OOB build but something very different.

On the Bench - Tamiya 1:48 F-117

Tomcat has stalled
Star Wars and SciFi needing final pics
Built To Race started but nothing more than parts of sprue and full of putty

Between house guests and illness very little has moved on my bench lately
Hoping to remedy that this weekend so there is enough to have progress photos of more than the dust settling

Stand aside caffine, this is a job for alcohol.

Ok, I've got to ask. What's the plan with the three Impalas?

The '67 Impala is Deans car on the program "Supernatural". This is a program me and two of my best friends have watched, and really enjoyed. Many a weekend has been wasted just watching seasons of it lol. I plan on building these all at the same time, hopefully shouldn't be too much of a problem.

The only problem though, once receiving the kit, is that they're two door ones, and the car on the program is 4 door... but it's alright. They also don't know I will be building it for them.

Starwars.. Complete
BTIC... Complete

Sci Fi... To Do
F14.. To Do

I'm currently finishing off a Spitfire for a GB somewhere else and have a Seafire to do as well and I built an F4U for another GB. Never a dull moment with online GB's...

No problem..

Seafire LFIIc Airfix 1/48 Finished...

Spitfire Vb Trop Tamiya 1/48 WIP

F4U-5N Highplanes 1/72

Here it is with an Academy F4U-1D I built last year.

Here is the other Seafire I'm building...

It's the Airfix 1/48 Seafire XVII.

I have made a few mods 'converting' it to a FR spec with a oblique camera...

Here is a Barracuda oblique resin camera..

I also used the Barrcuda resin rocker covers and modified the kit prop which has poor shaped prop blades to take blades from the XIX prop kit. Oh it's also getting resin XIX tubular Exhausts...

Cheers
John
