Fujimi do some f1 egg style cars
I grabbed a couple and it turns out they are basically the lil cars that run in the big slots
You have to cut the 'wings' off that normally hold small wheels and the markings are awful stickers so there is some work required to get them looking good but would look great when done
Stand aside caffine, this is a job for alcohol.

Now ain't that cute .
Been trying to find some of those for some time now, but alas I always seem to miss the bus .
I have some spare F1 parts, so I'll go the long route and build my own ....... eventually .
Just been messing around with the drawings from some Tamiya instructions (top/side/front/rear views) and deforming them to something I like.
Looking forward to see how you tackle the tyre situation. Tabu do nice replacement decals but are probably a bit large for the Fujimi kits (hence the reason I'm doing my own at a larger size so I can use the modified decals ).

I've moved away from doing the Tamiya Ferrari 312T3 I initially planned on doing, for something a bit quicker to make; a Senna DAP kart complete with Shapeways replacement parts designed and drawn by me. Should fly together well that's my hope! I'm choosing something easy to make because I stuck my hand up for a the Tomcat GB as well, and aircraft models are pretty new to me, so I'm expecting it to take about a decade!
Always being going to buy this kits, will be watching your build for sure.
