Just throwing another potential Group Build into the mix.

Subjects to choose from include the Japanese invasion Naval fleet, their carrier aircraft, US ships in harbor at the time, US aircraft attacked on the ground and in the air. Lots of subject choices.

Timed to run from December 7 2015 (start date) to Armistice Day competition/display at Cambridge in November 2016 (finish date).

Whaddiyah reckon? Discussion is open.

On the bench:
Airfix 1-48 Tiger Moth

I would probably contribute if this got going. The new Airfix 1/72 Kate looks tempting.

Yeah I would also contribute. I have always had a soft spot for this act of war and the devastation suffered on that day. I will be keen on this :)

Modellers Alliance are planning the same idea !! - I'd be happy to do a 1:48 'Val' or a 'Kate'.

I'm the same. Would be keen to join, but getting something finished at the moment has been difficult.

Was going to suggest 9/11 opens a wider range of topics and events and from it brings NZ into the conflict against terrorism.

Whoa 1/200!! that would be rather large! I don't really have anything in the stash that could be included in this, so would have to buy one for it "oh-damn" lol

My Zero is too late for such a build. Might make me finish something.

I'm in two minds on this one.

Not much armour to choose from for Pearl Harbour

Will see how funds dictate closer to the time

It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.
