Especially Albany

I've bought a model (V large) from a guy in Albany on the North Shore and i'm having a little trouble organizing him to leave it for a courier.

If any of you would be inclined to pick it up and help me courier it i'd happily pay you cost and a few extra $$ for your time , good grace, and gas money.

Thanks guys.

Hi FK,
If time is not a problem, I have a car to pick up from Beach Haven. The only issue is that I don't know when it will be finished as they keep finding new things that need fixing.

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Lucas,
If you aren't in any hurry for it, I can grab it at some stage and bring to Wellington on my next work trip, just not sure when theat will be as yet. PM me the address it needs to be picked up from and I can see what I can do.

If Craig can't get you sorted I probably can, he's a bit closer than me but it's only a 10-15min drive from my place. I can also prob sort a courier through work if need be. Keep me as a backup.

For me, I just don't know. It could be this friday, next week, some time in February.... you get the idea.
More than happy to help out if it works out.

I can probably pick it up Friday earliest, but not sure when I will be down in Wellington. Should be before the end of the month. Would it fit in overhead locker as carry on baggage?

Hi guys thanks for the Assist! I finally got the guy to agree to a courier and hopefully its being picked up today or Monday.

I hope it makes it,.... i may still require some help!!

anyway the mystery model is the hobby boss 1:18 AV-8B, hence the issues with the courier, the box is over a meter long

Thanks to all you guys this is such a great forum!

Yeah, probably just as well I didn’t go to pick it up. It would have gone one of two ways and neither would have ended up with you receiving the kit.

You should never try to slip a harrier past Craig, especially not a 1/18 one.

Glad to hear that you have it sorted, if you end up still needing a hand let me know.
Looks like my car will be ready around the end of the week.

Hi guys first off i want to thank all of you for your offer of support to my panicky request (i'd paid the money and it was all going a bit wrong)

Got the guy (who turned out to be very nice) and the courier company to co-operate and this landed (thump!) on my doorstep yesterday

Just for the record i'm a size 11 shoe.

@Craig i find the absence of panels on the top wing surface disconcerting - is this normal? or will i need to do a lot of scribing?

Once i clear the bench this one is next up!

Thanks to all again!!!! you guys really are awesome.
