Hi. and kia ora!
I'm Paul and live in the South East of the UK. After many years of wanting to visit NZ I finally made it back in February 2019 for four weeks!. Amongst all the wonders of your fair country the aviation aspect has got me managing some of the air museums. In the past I have specialized in Canadian aviation and have now more or less exhausted what I can build. Now its New Zealand's turn. My main modelling scale is 1/72nd and 1/144 with the occasional dabble in 1/48th. I build anything that appeals that is pre 2000 mainly. Not keen in overall grey military stuff much but vintage civvy aircraft do.

I am hoping to glean useful and interesting info to inspire me through the forum s here an look forward to it. AM happy to answer any questions and will probably have lots to ask.

Cheers for now!

Hello and welcome Paul, good to see our audience growing, thanks for stopping by to say hello. Year NZ is a stunning country to visit I've been "visiting" here for the past 13 years and not felt the urge to go back to blighty.
South East, Kent per chance?

Update In Stash:
Lots of 1/35 Armor mainly WWII German and a few Modern British/American pieces, 1/32 Aircraft and 1/48 Aircraft. Aircraft chosen to replicate RNZAF and RAAF types through the years. Some RAF & USAF types exist also.

Not too far .... West Sussex. Near Horsham.

By the way, have just signed up with the photo host page here. How does one get pics onto a thread for example.

Yeah I ended up on the South Coast, I know all that area really well, Billingshurst etc, used to use the A23 a lot to.

Well, what a coincidence, Billingshurst is where I live!!

Thanks for the link I'll take a look and experiment. Is there a dedicated thread for completed models?

Small world, used to drive through there a fair bit.
No specific thread, there are a bunch of Categories, Aviation Showcase, Armour Showcase etc, follow as I build is so we can follow your progress. Just create a new thread in the corresponding Category, job done.
