Hi. My name is Peter. I started building dioramas in 2010 after accidently stumbling on to some fantastic garage dioramas on the internet that inspired me. I mainly build in 1/18 and 1/24 but also sometimes build in 1/12, 1/35. 1/43 and 1/64. I build all sorts of odd little things that amuse me. I am a member of an American based forum and also sometimes post on an Australian automotive based forum. Being a Kiwi, I thought I should also support this Kiwi forum.
As this appears to be mostly military builds here, there may not be much interest in what I build. I will attempt to load some pictures of some of my projects.

Hey there, welcome aboard.
It maybe predominantly Military builds her but we all certainly appreciate great modeling skills when we see them and I think you have some awesome looking dios there.
The Storm Trooper and toxic waste catch my eye, very cool.
Have a nosey around and see what we get up to.
Look forward to seeing some more work of yours.

Welcome Pete, fantastic builds, I like them all especially the car junk yard. Are they all kits or die casts?
What's the green stuff on in the Toxic Waste?

Modelling military stuff is easy there's a lot of it available but I'll build anything, from Ancient Greece to Star Wars.

Nice work there! Loving it!

Where abouts in South New Zealand mate?

There may be more military than anything else on here, but we do different things every now and then. I sometimes build cars and the like.

Thanks Gary. The car junkyard is 1/64 Diecast. I dismantled them and stripped them all back to metal and repainted them - massive job - never again. This is only half the dio. I will put a picture up so you can see the rest of it.
Green stuff is 2 pot clear resin with a couple of drops of a Vallejo green mixed in.
I like your figures.

Welcome to the KM site Pete. Bunch of good peeps here.
Agreed, lots of Mil type stuff here but we always like to see other modes of the hobby and yours are very well done.
I too like the Stormtrooper but also the junkyard, to which I have seen this posted elsewhere I am sure.
Keep the build images coming, as we would all like to see your craftwork.

So, without further ado, I must roll this out for yah....as I do....

Update In Stash:
Lots of 1/35 Armor mainly WWII German and a few Modern British/American pieces, 1/32 Aircraft and 1/48 Aircraft. Aircraft chosen to replicate RNZAF and RAAF types through the years. Some RAF & USAF types exist also.

Some nice looking builds there. I like how you are not afraid to mix it up, ie using Lego Minifigs B)

Yeah they were quite prevalent down in the South of France, they have them in the middle of the street with not much but a wooden screen around them.

These toilets are common in Asia. Still many in Japan and China.

Thanks Michael. Toilets - great subjects for weathering. I had seen a few very weathered toilets on the net and thought it would be fun to do one.

Cool dioramas, nice thinking outside the box
As above, we have a huge range of modelling genres. There seems to be a lot of tanks and aircraft but regardless of what you do, as long as it's modelling everyone here will welcome it :-)

Welcome to KM from AUstralia. I love the work you've shown us so far. The weathering in that toilet diorama is very impressive
