Sorry but due to the recent image hosting fiasco with Photobucket I'm going to have to ask you all to stop using 3rd party hosting for your images.
Photobuckets new policy of not allowing users to share their own images unless they pay the subscription has caused lots of forums like ours to become farked when it comes to posts with pictures that are hosted on the likes of Photobucket.
Consequently can you please make sure that you use the attachment feature that is part of this forum. We now have a huge hole in our site with hundreds of posts that no longer contain the photos that were originally included and as such have almost zero benefit to our members.
For those of you that have use Photobucket in the past it would be really appreciated if you could go back and maybe edit your old posts and add attachments. Topics with no photos lack context.
I'm looking at adding a dedicated image hosting site for our members where you can upload your modelling photos and share on other sites. It'll work in a similar manner to Photobucket but will be for modellers and models only.
Thanks for reading,

Good move G1. I only had one forum how-to page bookmarked to return to and read through, a very good tutorial on how to make scale palm trees on armorama, and fauxtobucket has kicked in with full effect hollowing the thread out with no photos rendering it pretty much worthless.
I'm currently looking at some different options, basically I want something that works and looks similar to Photobucket but that I can host on my servers in Dallas, that way the photos will always be available as long as the site is up.
I'm happy to provide hosting for photos so that our members can link or post them in other forums, the only criteria with this would be that it has to be photos of models and not reference photos (we have a separate gallery for that) or family holiday snaps
