I took the little one out this avo to Ardmore as she is recognising Waka Topatopa (Helicopters) And Wakarererangi (Planes). It just happened the Warbirds were doing a test flight of their mossie. Sorry for the shaky cam, I was holding the girl and trying to film.
Nice! I was watching the live video on facebook. My son is the same, whenever he hears anything flying past he yells either "topter" for helicopter or "airplane". When he can see what it is he recognises the difference and gets it right most of the time. The perks of living under the flight pattern for Whenuapai and the west auckland native bird, the "eagle" chopper.
In Soviet Russia, Iron Curtain GB builds you!
People look at me funny when I say I own "Fifty shades of Grey". FS36118, FS36270, FS36375.....
Cool, I diidn't even know it was happening. Was a lucky visit, although it's a shame you cant walk around Ardmore like you used too be ablle to do. Caught it landing just before we left too. Man it needs a lot of runway when landing.
