I am hoping to indulge in both to day... a bit of bench time and my other new hobby...slow cooking/smoking meat!


hopefully in about 10 hrs I will have pulled pork!

Looks pretty tasty

I'm going to crank our Webber soon, just going to split a whole chicken over some charcoal

Had a disaster the last time I used it. I didn't realise that the carbonettes soaked up a whole lot of water when the garage flooded. Wondered why there wasn't much heat. Had to race to the shop and get more charcoal and meths. That got it going. Also dried out the damp carbonettes, was still hot enough to cook on the following day! lol

Just made a coffee/rum BBQ sauce to go with it..

Just looked at a Webber Andrew..as I have had permission from the wife to buy one(She likes my meat:P ) I am looking and a Smokey Mountain 47"

Update In Stash:
Lots of 1/35 Armor mainly WWII German and a few Modern British/American pieces, 1/32 Aircraft and 1/48 Aircraft. Aircraft chosen to replicate RNZAF and RAAF types through the years. Some RAF & USAF types exist also.

I'm a big fan of indirect cooking over the coals too. I usually do ribs on mine. Been a bit lazy this summer and only fired it up a couple of times. Just been doing pulled pork, whole chickens and bulgogi in the slow cooker recently.
