Hi all.

I couldn’t see this answered anywhere else and I’m not sure this is the right spot on the forum to ask either, but anyways...
Has anyone in New Zealand tried importing Precision Ice and Snow? Either personally or commercially? Im close to ordering one of their kits but was a little concerned about what customs might think of a couple bags of white powder at the border! If they have zero experience of what it is, it can create all kinds of dramas getting it released ( safety data sheets and tarrifs come to mind).
Anyone tried or had success bringing it in?

Thanks!

Glenn.

Thanks Nosferatu. Good to know it arrived without issue. I’m just questioning the coverage they mention on their website.
Says a bag does 1200 mm square at 1mm deep, which would only be 30mm x 40mm, so a pretty darn small area! I’m hoping their (or my!) maths is out of whack!

Good idea. Build up using DAS or sculptamold, then Krycell to finish off. I think they are actually meaning 1.2 square meters, which would make more sense i.e. 30 x 40 cm, which would be ok.

If it says 1200mm square that is a large area (1.2m x 1.2m) if it says 1200sq mm that is small

Ah ok yip it says 1200 square so it’s a good area coverage. Thanks for clearing that up for me. No idea why I couldn’t see that when I read it!
