So after a pretty shitty time last year i'd given it away abit, was halfway through this and just went meh closed the door didn't go back.

So after cleaning off the dust and cob webs out i put some paint and decals on, had some more things i wanted to do on this,... but just happy to get it off the bench..

That's bloody nice. Always did like the TSR2 but was too scared to attempt the 1/48 after reading all the horor stories about it. The WHIF schemes are great, it suits the green/grey scheme quite well, also thought the gulf war pink really suited it too.
Fantastic work and good to hear the mojo is coming back!

People look at me funny when I say I own "Fifty shades of Grey". FS36118, FS36270, FS36375.....

Not a post WW2 jet builder but this is a good looking aircraft.

I've had models that lanquished unfinished for so long I simply lost interest in the subject and scale entirely, so I got rid of them! While the word "mojo" gets bandied about on model forums, I'm not always going to be excited, interested, energised and full of enthusiasm for my hobby 24/7. Sometimes our hobby is about completing tasks that might be somewhat tedious, difficult etc, but completing tasks means I have more time to do things I really want!

So yay to completing tasks and big ups for finishing the model! Happy it is off the bench is good I assume!? ;) I'm looking forward to seeing your F-15 take shape.

That is a mean looking jet, well done!

I started building models, then I was collecting more than I built. Now I'm more of an archivist.

Really nice work mate. The plane takes on a different feel out of the white paint. I like it.

Thanks all, nice to have some positive feed back to get the mojo going....

BTW i've just re-looked at the pics i posted and the one of the avionics bays shows what looks like a big glob of glue on the nose gear door,...honest i don't glue like a cack handed gibbon it was water left over from trying to get under the gloss coats to remove a smudge.... actually i've seen a few water marks on the gloss coat in these pics... yikes that light really picks them out.
