Hey everyone

With another project I have in mind I'll need a bright blue paint
Its a bit hard to find exactly what I want simply by googling so hoping you guys can help out, simply looking at the bottom of a paint jar doesnt show us an exact colour we can expect
Im not sure what kinda of blue it is but if I was to try to describe it it's brighter (more colour) than a Subaru blue and wee bit of fluro?
Something like the blue on a focus rs is too light
Prefer Tamiya acrylics but they only have a few blues, have used mr color from modelair if theres something there?

If possible, can you post a photo of the paint when it was used on a model?
Thanks in advance

Do you have a reference image of ‘roughly’ the colour your after?

Audi Riveria blue or Nogaro blue for example..

Notice how "bright" that light blue is, but in a similar tone to the one on the right, does that make sense

Hopefully this might help
This is a photo I took from forza, in the game its the "brightness" I want but the image here seems a fraction duller

This is a photo I took at Modelair on Monday, the lid also looks good, but the bottom doesnt

You might just need to buy it and see if it is the right colour.

I'm making a folder of cards with colour swatches on them for all my paints for this very reason - the dry colours never look the same as they do on the lid, or the same as the paint in the jar.

Actually spraying each colour somewhere is a good idea

Watching west coast customs season 1 episode 1 at the moment and in the background a few times are 2 blue cars on top of each other, a colour like that looks ok
