I'm happily about to inherit my fathers 50 Ltr compressor (Air Command 13) the outflow regulator holds a nice 10 or 20 psi smoothly so i'm thinking, big paint jobs, blow up my tires,.... and maybe i could run my air brush off it???

anybody know what parts i'd need to step down to the airbrush fitting or where i could get these from?? anybody else run their brush of larger compressor??

The bonus is - yes, this makes a racket but only once every 30 mins if i spray constantly!!!! very smooth constant airflow too!

No eBay APP ID défined in Kunena configurationIt depends on what fittings your hose has already? I have a 1/4" fitting on one end, so all I use is one of these:
www.supercheapauto.co.nz/Product/MALE-AIR-COUPLER-ARO/342420

Which is the male quick disconnect fitting that connects to one of these on my regulator:
www.supercheapauto.co.nz/Product/Blackri...-Coupler-1-4-/298684

If you don't have a 1/4" fitting on your hose, you can buy a hose here:
www.supercheapauto.co.nz/Product/Blackri...-Braided-1-5m/161697

or a 1/8"to 1/4" adapter:
Ebay link

If you have a badger hose, you can get one of these:
Ebay link

Both of these adapters will fit directly to the compressor, without the need for the quick disconnect, but a quick disconnect makes life much easier.

I use ARO connectors, not sure super cheap sell these, you may need to go too hose supplies or ash air, these are the standard in all the places I have work, only other is a claw coupling but thats another story.
ARO male to male 1/4 bsp thread attached to ait brush hose.
I have compressor outside of my shed I run a hose into shed attached to female ARO fittings.
1/4 british stardard pipe threaded fittings, reducing bushes to suit outlet fitting on compressor.

This is useful info for me too thanks all. Not that I'm in a position to get a larger compressor at the moment, but one day i hope to.

As Glenn mentioned, SCA sell the hose to go from a 1/4 at the compressor to 1/8 for the airbrush, I just run a double outlet with a normal 1/4 hose fitting for everything else and the airbrush hose on the other outlet. I've got one that sounds similar and yes it is great getting up to half an hour out of a tank of air.
You want this hose here .
