I was wondering if Tamiyas hull red would be ok to use as the red primer on my Takom King Tiger.
Thanks Henry

Out of the bottle it is probably too dark and needs to have red added to it;

With a grey neutral wash over it, MIG used to list a red primer wash in the grey.
A number of different comapnies have a German red primer which would be more "accurate" than the Tamiya Hull red, that considering scale effect would be too dark by itself.

No, as OD said, too dark. Their dull red rattle works okay over black, but this new primer I’m using is just right. Works even better over black. I’ll take a photo of the can.

Why is patience a virtue, why can't hurry the f**k up be a virtue?

If it's too orange you need to give it a shake mate ;)
Mine is fine.

Or use AK Interactive's sets :lol:
Just dragged the MIG RAL 8012 out and will drop a couple of agitators into it.
