Hey guys, thought this would be a cool idea
Post up any pics/comments, whether it's before you start, work in progress, completed, etc
It'll encourage more posts more often, without the need for its own thread
Kinda like the new acquisition thread cause that's always got lots to see :-)

I'm just working on the F-4J at the moment. I used to be terrible when it came to having multiple kits on the go. I never used to finish any of them. I find if I concentrate on 1 build at a time I can use the next kit I want to build as an incentive to finish the current one.

Oh that's just stuff I'm actively working on it doesn't include the stuff I've put to one side while I wait for a skill upgrade, I often start stuff and find that I need to work on a particular skill set (like PE or a particular German paint scheme for example) so I wait until I've tried it on something smaller or of a lower quality and then return to it sometimes months later.

I've not touched the puma in months as it's back home, so I've been working on various assignments and looked at some potential improvements on the scale calculator that I could do.
I've also been working on getting the components for the Christmas project I'm nearly there just 2 more parts to go I just wish the parts where cheaper I ordered one of the parts tonight and that set me back £250 I'm just glad thats the most expensive piece

Nice idea for a thread.
Im currently working on a bandai kit from the anime Tiger and Bunny that I started ages ago and want to get the big box out of the way.
Most recent completes that I have not had time to do posts on are 2 very different sizes.

Bandai Re100 Nightingale, has since undergone a repaint, just needs final detials/panel lines done

and a Scribor Miniatures Treeman to have a dabble in Miniature painting.

Next project is reassembling the workbench area after finding the main phone jack in the house was in the back corner of it and needing a chorus dude to get at it :-/

And setting up the Brother Scan cut somewhere that makes the wife feel it was actually for the 2 of us :-)

1/48 TBF-1c Avenger NZ2513 "Potato Hop" (which already has a thread)
and starting soon &/or progressively over summer -
1/48 Eduard Spitfire Mk IXc Royal Class as S/L Colin Gray's machine EN520 FL-A with 81 Sqn (in Tunisia?)
1/24 Airfix Hawker Typhoon Mk 1b 'Bubbletop' as 486 Sqn (MN140?) SA-F
1/48 Revell Ventura II RAF as 487 Sqn EG-B (or EG-O)
1/72 Airfix Short Sunderland as RNZAF late-war (for Harold Kelsey)
1/48 Tamiya Bristol Beaufighter as 489 Sqn RD432 P6-L1 with torpedo (heaps of aftermarket detail!)
Hopefully ... 1/48 Tamiya or Hasegawa P-51D-25-NA as 506th FG #528 "The Enchantress" or #542 "Fighting Lady"

Unusually for me I have three on the go. The Centurion BARV I posted in armour last week which I am currently prepping for paint.

An RASC DUKW based on the Italeri kit which I have been painting/decalling on and off for the last six months! Here it is prior to painting.

And an Accurate Armour Conqueror, which I have attempted to start twice and aborted due to the extremely poor casting quality which is necessitating much scratchbuilding....and while scratchbuilding is what I do, its not what I expect of a kit I have paid a huge pile of coin for.
The last pic I took shows it next to a Tamiya T55 which I finished about a year ago!

Got started on the Lynx last night...straight away this is one of the better looking kits I've seen.
The cleanness of the sprues is obvious, and the detail should be awesome as there are so many parts
This is the most detailed instrument panel I've done, most are usually just one decal, maybe two, this one had five

In a week or so, I forget the exact date, but I will be building one thing and one thing only - my Skyhawk Group Build entry! At the moment though...

Revell 1/32 BAe Hawk T.1A
ProModeler 1/48 PBY-5A Catalina
Hasegawa 1/32 P-40N Warhawk
Italeri 1/48 Douglas A-20B
Hasegawa 1/32 A-4E/F Skyhawk (a different one, really old boxing)
Airfix 1/24 Hurricane MKI
Airfix 1/24 Gr.3 Harrier
ProModeler 1/32 Ju 88A-1
Revell 1/48 SH-2F Seasprite
Academy 1/48 F-117A
Tamiya 1/32 F-4J Phantom
Trumpeter 1/24 Bf 109 G-6
Hasegawa 1/32 Ki84 (Frank)
Fujimi 1/24 Nissan Skyline
PCM 1/32 Spitfire Mk XIVc

There are a few more that I've done a little on, but are proper stored away so it wouldn't be fair to say I'm "building" them but all of these are getting a bit of attention now and then as the mood strikes. Writing out that list felt a little... obsessed...

Hmmm . . think I'll play, too.

Organising one or two kits, last details.

Rigging a Monogram 1/72nd F-11C

Filling in panel lines on a Frems MB 339.

1/48th Occidental Spit Mk IXc

1/23nd Revell F4U-1 in FAA clothes

and . . .

1/32nd Revell F-14B
Wasn't happy with the U/C and gear wells. Here's a little on the NLG:

SO - prior explanation, I'm making this for someone who works with seasprite engineers, and wants to put this on their desk as somewhat of a taunt... by painting it vivid pink!

It's the old Revell kit, and it's a bit of a grotter, and the pink Tamiya paint has been pretty atrocious... but still a hilarious build - will almost certainly get a G kit if Kittyhawk do put out an RNZAF set.

Eduard 1/48 Mirage III with camera nose
Hasegawa 1/48 F/A-18A with custom decals
Tamiya 1/32 Tomcat - working on weapons and landing gear

I too, will be clearing the bench and working solely on the big OA-4M, come Dec 22.

Cleared the bench yesterday as I knew these were arriving.

First will be Vader, then im not sure.
All I can say is, I am not dissapointed in what Bandai has put in the box, the detail is comparable, and in some cases exceeds the same scale Fine Molds kits.
The true test will be the panel gaps once assembled.

Having built the Fine Molds kits of the same vehicles, will be interested to see how they compare to the Bandai.

Well Vader is 'snapped' and makes for a nice lil kit. It is to fragile to be a toy and needs a little fork to be a display piece but a bit of tactical glue will help both of those scenario's.
I will leave as at the moment but cleanup and some paint are definitely in his future.
Hopefully one of the others tomorrow night and pics later in the week.
